FRONTLOADER (FDT)

The RVM Fast Deployment Tool (FDT) is a highly versatile system designed to rapidly deploy portable roadways in demanding environments. Mounted on any standard front loader, the FDT can carry and lay out 4-meter-wide portable roads up to 30 meters long, providing instant access across soft terrain, mud, beaches, or desert dunes.

In emergency situations, the FDT acts as a true Rapid Response Tool, delivering a stable temporary road surface for any type of vehicle. The system is fast to load, transport and deploy: making it ideal for disaster relief, vehicle recovery, temporary traffic diversions, counter-flow bypasses, and remote access operations.

FAST & FLEXIBLE DEPLOYMENT

The FDT can deploy or retrieve a roadway in under 10 minutes, minimizing downtime and maximizing operational mobility. Spools can be transported in both horizontal and vertical positions, offering flexibility in tight work zones and during coastal or amphibious operations. The FDT can also be transported aboard beach landing craft for direct shoreline deployment.

Its quick-change spool system allows operators to reload Trackways efficiently, supporting continuous operations with minimal manpower.

COMPATIBLE WITH RVM HEAVY TRACKWAY

The FDT is fully compatible with RVM’s Heavy Trackway (Mammoth Mat): a durable, flexible and maintenance-free portable road developed with the Dutch Armed Forces.
